The
Open Short Metrics held on the 27th May in aid of Trees For Life was a
great success with £142.35 being raised for the Charity. Despite the
slightly inclement weather, most of the entrants braved it and Connor's
cakes went down a treat at the end. Dave Scobie won a baby Rowan tree for overall highest score.
Well done to everyone involved. Special thanks to Blyth's dad for
stepping in to call the raffle and to his sisters who turned up on
their way home from Brownies to sell raffle tickets in the drizzle.
Thanks also to Ciaran for taking on responsibility for marking and
setting out the field and for being Field Capt throughout the evening.
