Bannockburn Bowmen fund raising efforts raise £1,490 for good causes

The Club has excelled itself this year by raising an incredible £1,490 from indoor and outdoor competitions this past 12 months for good causes!  Most credit must go to our Junior section who have committed tremedous time and energy to make our competitions not only successful, but fun too.

From our Children in Need evening on the 27th November 2009 , to the Open Short Metric on 20th August 2010, turnout has bucked the trend for competitions this year.  Children in Need, Multiple Sclerosis Society, CHAS Rachel House and Fife Greyhound Rescue have all benefited from the generosity in time and effort from Club members and participating archers.  A big 'Thank You' to everyone who has attended and helped on the evenings.

Our fund-raising efforts for good causes doesn't stop there!  The forthcoming indoor competitions will include raffles with donations from proceeds going to Blue Cross, British Heart Foundation and the PDSA.  Look out for further announcements and we look forward to seeing you there!
